This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 23, 2008:
Actually that has been a dream of ours for some time - there is 2700 forested acres that we have been looking at - I would be a non-profit retreat center - a place where people could come to find themselves and also my husband would love to work with kids that have been in trouble. Teach them all the other activities that kids can do and stay out of trouble. I have told him that I would wait for my dream house if we could figure out a way to make this work.

Jen, that is absolutely inspiring! I think it is wonderful that your husband wants to work with troubled kids. Those kids are so much more great than they realize, but without proper guidance and nourishment of the heart and soul, how will they ever know?
Best of wishes and luck to you on your project. It will happen before you know it, you will be well on your way past your first year, and making plans for the next.
